LESCO Online Bill Check by Customer ID When You Do Not Have the Reference Number

You can do a LESCO online bill check by Customer ID when you do not have the reference number. The official LESCO bill website accepts both numbers, and the Customer ID opens the same duplicate bill to view, download and print.

Open the official LESCO bill site Check by reference number

How to check your LESCO bill online by Customer ID

It takes four steps and no login.

  1. 1

Open the LESCO web bill page

Go to bill.pitc.com.pk/lescobill. This is the official bill website run by PITC for LESCO.

  2. 2

    Select Customer ID

Above the search box there are two options, Reference No and Customer ID. Choose Customer ID.

  3. 3

    Type your Customer ID

Enter the digits exactly as printed on your bill, without spaces or dashes. The box takes up to 11 digits.

  4. 4

    Press Search

Your latest bill opens with the amount, due date, units and billing history. Use the print option to save it as a PDF.

You can also start from the bill check tool on our home page. Choose the Customer ID tab and it opens the official bill site, where you type the number.

Where to find your LESCO Customer ID

  • On any LESCO bill. The Customer ID is printed in the top section of the bill, close to the reference number and the consumer name.
  • On an online bill. If you once opened the bill with a reference number, the Customer ID is shown on that page as well. Note it down for next time.
  • In payment receipts. Some banking and wallet apps show the consumer details after a bill payment.
  • At the sub-division office. Staff can look up the connection with your CNIC, meter number or address.

Save both numbers. Take a photo of one bill or write the reference number and Customer ID in your phone notes. You will need them for bill checks, complaints, the tax certificate and online payments.

Both numbers lead to the same bill. Use whichever one you have.

Can you check a LESCO bill by CNIC, name or meter number?

No. The official bill website only searches by reference number or Customer ID. It has no option to search by CNIC, consumer name, mobile number, address or meter number.

Be careful with websites or apps that promise a bill check by CNIC or name. They cannot get your bill that way, and you should not give them your CNIC or other personal details.

If you have lost both numbers

  • Look for an old paper bill, a bank receipt or a payment SMS.
  • Ask the landlord or the previous occupant.
  • Visit your sub-division office with your CNIC and the meter number written on the meter.
  • Call the helpline 118 and ask for help identifying the connection.

Once you have a number

  • Open the bill and save it as a PDF.
  • Register for LESCO’s bill SMS service so the bill reaches your phone.
  • Keep the numbers in your phone for next month.

Bill not opening with your Customer ID?

  • Make sure Customer ID is selected, not Reference No.
  • Remove spaces and any letters, and check each digit against the bill.
  • Try again after a few minutes. The bill site can be slow around due dates.
  • A very new connection may not show a bill until the first billing cycle is complete.
  • If it still fails, try the reference number with our LESCO bill check tool or use the LESCO complaint numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I check my LESCO bill without a reference number?

Yes. On the official bill website choose Customer ID instead of Reference No, enter your Customer ID and press Search.

Where is the Customer ID on a LESCO bill?

It is printed in the top section of the bill near the reference number and consumer name, and it also appears on the online bill.

Can I check a LESCO bill by CNIC?

No. The official website does not offer a bill search by CNIC, name, mobile number or meter number. Only the reference number or Customer ID works.

Is the Customer ID the same as the reference number?

No. The reference number has 14 digits and describes your batch, sub-division and connection. The Customer ID is a separate, shorter account number.

Is checking the bill by Customer ID free?

Yes. Viewing, downloading and printing the bill on the official website is free.

Can I pay the bill with my Customer ID?

Most banking and wallet apps ask for the 14-digit reference number. See the LESCO bill payment methods on our home page.

How many digits is the LESCO Customer ID?

It is shorter than the 14-digit reference number. The Customer ID box on the official bill website takes up to 11 digits, so type the number exactly as it is printed on your bill.
