LESCO Bill Calculator 2026 – Estimate Your Electricity Bill

Use this LESCO bill calculator to estimate your electricity bill before the actual bill arrives. Enter the units you have used this month and choose protected or non-protected. The tool applies the current LESCO domestic slab rate, fixed charge, FC surcharge, electricity duty and GST, then shows every line of the estimate. It helps you plan your monthly budget and see how a few extra units can move you into a higher slab.

How the LESCO bill calculator works

The steps below are the same ones used on a real LESCO domestic bill.

  1. 1

    Find your slab

Your total units for the month decide the slab. On a non-protected connection all of your units are billed at that slab rate, not only the units above the limit.

  2. 2

    Add the fixed charge

Each slab has a fixed charge in rupees per kW. It is multiplied by the sanctioned load written on your bill.

  3. 3

    Add surcharge and adjustments

The FC surcharge is charged per unit. Fuel price adjustment and quarterly adjustment change often, so you can copy them from your last bill.

  4. 4

    Add duty and GST

Electricity duty is 1.5% and general sales tax is 18%. The total is your estimated bill before any arrears.

LESCO slab rates used in this calculator

These are the domestic rates the calculator uses. They are the NEPRA-notified base rates that have applied to LESCO domestic consumers since February 2026. You can cross-check any estimate with the official LESCO Bill Estimator.

LESCO domestic slab rates and fixed charges
Units in the monthRate per unitFixed charge per kW
Protected, 1 to 100Rs 10.54Rs 200
Protected, 101 to 200Rs 13.01Rs 300
Non-protected, 1 to 100Rs 22.44Rs 275
Non-protected, 101 to 200Rs 28.91Rs 300
201 to 300Rs 33.10Rs 350

401 to 500Rs 38.95Rs 500
501 to 600Rs 40.22Rs 675
601 to 700Rs 41.85Rs 675
Above 700Rs 47.20Rs 675

Protected consumers keep one earlier slab, so their first 100 units stay at Rs 10.54 and only the units above 100 are charged at Rs 13.01. Lifeline connections (Rs 3.95 per unit up to 50 units and Rs 7.74 from 51 to 100 units) and time-of-use meters are billed differently and are not covered by this calculator. Your units and tariff are printed on the bill, which you can open with the LESCO online bill check.

Estimated LESCO bill for common unit counts

These estimates are for a 1 kW connection with the FC surcharge of Rs 3.23 per unit, before fuel price and quarterly adjustments. A higher sanctioned load adds the fixed charge for each extra kW.

Estimated billBefore FPA and quarterly adjustmentRs 17,561.85
LESCO bill calculation for 350 units: energy charge Rs 12,761, fixed charge Rs 800, FC surcharge Rs 1,130.50, electricity duty Rs 191.42 and GST Rs 2,678.93
How a 350-unit LESCO bill is built up, line by line.

Watch the 200-unit line. At 200 units the energy charge is 200 x Rs 28.91 = Rs 5,782. At 201 units every unit moves to Rs 33.10, so the energy charge becomes Rs 6,653.10. One extra unit adds about Rs 871, and the fixed charge per kW rises too.

Why your real bill can be different

  • Fuel price adjustment (FPA) changes every month and can be a charge or a refund.
  • Quarterly tariff adjustment is revised every three months and appears on the bill as Q-Trf-Adj. For bills issued from September to November 2026 it is about Rs 0.52 per unit.
  • Arrears and late payment surcharge from earlier months are added to the current bill. Paying before the due date through any of the LESCO bill payment methods avoids the surcharge.
  • Income tax can be added to high bills of consumers who are not on the active taxpayers list.
  • Protected status depends on your last six months, not only this month.
  • Meter reading dates matter. A longer billing cycle means more units and sometimes a higher slab.

To see the exact amount LESCO has billed, use the LESCO bill check tool with your 14-digit reference number. If you cannot find that number, see where the reference number is printed. If a charge looks wrong, our guide on how to read a LESCO bill explains each line, and the LESCO helpline and complaint numbers are there for a wrong reading or a billing mistake.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official LESCO bill calculator?

No. This is an independent estimate tool. LESCO has its own Bill Estimator on www.lesco.gov.pk under Customer Services, and the bill issued by LESCO is always the final amount.

Where do I find my sanctioned load?

It is printed on your LESCO bill as Load or Sanctioned Load, in kW. Most small homes have a single-phase connection below 5 kW. If you are not sure, leave the load at 1 and the fixed charge will be the minimum.

Who is a protected consumer?

A domestic consumer who has used 200 units or fewer in each of the last six months. Protected consumers pay much lower unit rates. Using more than 200 units in any month moves the connection to non-protected rates.

Are all my units charged at one rate?

On a non-protected connection, yes. The slab is decided by your total units, and that rate applies to all units in the month. This is why crossing a slab limit by even one unit raises the bill sharply. Protected consumers are the exception: their first 100 units stay at the lower rate.

Does the calculator include fuel price adjustment?

Not by default, because it changes every month. Type the FPA per unit from your last bill in the FPA box, add the quarterly adjustment under More options, and the estimate will include them with duty and GST.

How can I reduce my LESCO bill?

Keep monthly use under a slab limit where you can, especially 200 units. Run heavy appliances outside peak hours if you have a time-of-use meter, and check that the meter reading on the bill matches your meter.
